Please mark your calendar! Bring your family & cooler to our Clan Tent and enjoy our hospitality!!  We hope to see you at one or more of these events this coming Spring and Summer.   Also, this is the year for Parliament and gathering of  MacLeod’s from around the world.  The event takes place on the Isles of Harris, Lewis,  Skye,

+ and Raasay.    The dates are July  26th  to August   5th.     Judy and I plan to attend this Jubilee and to celebrate this 15th  parliament  first held 50 years ago in 1956.  Check the Clan magazine for details.

 

We also hope you have been receiving your bi-annual Clan Magazines.   If your Clan MacLeod membership has lapsed and you wish to renew we have adopted a new membership fee schedule that allows you to join up to 3 years for only $60.00  One year renews are $25.00,  two years are $45.00, and three years are $60.00.  Please consider renewing at these new rates.   A copy of our revised membership form is available on our website www.macleodgreatlakes.org  or see us at the games to renew.     As always,  we are grateful for your participation.    Clan MacLeod thanks all those who renew their memberships so that we may continue to be represented at the numerous Highland Games throughout the Great Lakes Region and the U.S.. 

 

Membership dues allows us to promote our Scottish heritage through dancing and piping awards.

On a sad note, we must  report the death of Coralane McLeod Boyes last October after a short

illness.   She was for many years  Regional Vice President of the Great Lakes    and was ever present at every highland game.   Her dedication  and  support of the Clan MacLeod Society and Dunvegan   Foundation will be truly missed.
